Why return SCHÜTZ drums and IBCs?

The SCHÜTZ model is built on sustainability and a commitment to minimising packaging waste.

When drums and IBCs aren’t returned, not only do they add to landfill, but SCHÜTZ then need to manufacture and distribute new containers in order to meet demand for Crop Protection products.

How can you help?

There are three ways you can help SCHÜTZ recycle and reuse packaging:

  1. Ensure you return your empty drums and IBCs to your local reseller as soon as you can. SCHÜTZ will then collect, launder and prepare them for fast resupply to chemical companies.
  2. Got a farm full of 100L, 110L or SCHÜTZ IBCs? Give us a call and we will see if we can work out to collect them directly from your farm.
  3. When purchasing chemicals in larger pack sizes, ask the reseller about the return program available on each product. Choose to support companies that are investing in a program to ensure a simple disposal process for you.
